Ok girls...

This is an idea i had few weeks ago. I told R@quel about it and she told me it could be a great idea so here it is:

We're making a MetalliChick tribute band to Metallica.

You're wondering how it is possible ? Well i tried to record some stuff with Jasonstalker and it seems to work really well (And we don't live in the same country :) )

So, now we just wanna know if someone else is interesting in being part of this project.

We need a second guitar (and maybe a thrid...why not), a drummer and a singer.

Yeah it's actually a really good idea...a piano Solo can make something great and original on a 'Tallica track.

Or a ballad, like your nothing else matters :heart:

i can have ago at the singing be warned i am a bit rusty in that department though so maybe its time to blow the dust off these old vocal chords and give it ago!!!!! would you like a demo or summat? i'll pm you!

You can record a demo to see if the sound is great enought or something...

And for everybody: I think the main purpose of all this is to have fun so don't worry if you can't play like Kirk...i mean, i only have two or 3 month of guitar behind me, fortunatly i'm good enought to start recording stuffs but it's not the new Jimi Hendrix Experience :rolleyes:

Yup - the first few min recordings went well. We sucessfully put together the little bit of bass guitar doodle form cunning stunts (My friend of misery) & it sounded great!! :D
The pianoy ballady thing for noting else matters would be awesome too!

Just go for it people, just send in your recordings!!!

Well for now, its just the orginal recordings of met sogs, apart form the bass/guitar doodle. But i tried a seek & destroy & that turned out pretty well without the timings there for me :lol:

if you want someone to do random noise, bang things loudly you always got me. lol i can't record stuff, buts i got plently of entushiasm,and gumpstion.... and i can make a LOT of noise for a little person! :D

Anything really I can already play most of Seek and destroy, except the solo. Just no shit like Battery yeah? :lol: definately can't play that fast!! One is the limit lol

I can't play all of Metallica's stuff, but the ones I CAN play I'm pretty good.
Just no Puppets stuff for me.
Almost all of Kill 'Em All, some Lightning and AJFA and almost all of Black Album should be no problem.

Today during english I was sitting there ignoring the Romeo and Juliet lesson and got to thinking. How badass would it be if the Metchicks started a tribute band to Metallica...then I got yelled at for not paying attention.

If ya ever needed somebody to do vocals or bagpipes (don't ask...) haha...I'm here. Given I'm no good at playing the guitar quite yet.

The piano thing would be good for Nothing Else Matters! We could have the original & another version with he pino.

Well, I can go as far as puppets, blackened & one - + the live shit stuff is faster but i can play that anyway. Just do your best for any demo recordings

Please send us demos, nothing really perfect (but do your best anyways), is just to check the sound. The sound of your recording is gonna be really important to make something listenable when we'll put the tracks together.

For the tempo i used to play at the live shit Tempo but it would maybe be better to play at the Mastered version.

EDIT: It's a lot for a band, the guitar players please tell me if you are more into Rythm or Lead. we can have 2 lead and 1 Rhytm on one song (or the contrary), I don't mind i can do both of them so...

And please any drummers ? It would be sad to have to play along Guitar Pro 5 background drums :P
