i've never had a boyfriend, but for some reason it really doesn't bother me.
my dad took me to my first concert when i was about 3 or 4 years old...
i love movies about drug issues and junkies, like transpotting or sid & nancy.
my favourite classes in school are social science and english.

Yes it's annoying. But in my experience, almost all girls like dogs, and I really don't like them.

Yes it's annoying. But in my experience, almost all girls like dogs, and I really don't like them.

I don't like dogs either. I like cats. My mother made me hate dogs, I think. She insisted on getting a puppy when I was 13 or 14. That dog was viscious, destroyed all my things, and bit me leaving scars on my hands, and she refused to get rid of it. She would always blame it on me, even when the dog would bite me. If I had a dog, and it was biting my kids, the dog would be gone. But my mother is a tad crazy.
Which leads me to my "fact about myself"
My mother and I don't get along, in fact, I've kind of "disowned" her in a way. We've never gotten along, mainly because of her boyfriend, whom she had been dating since I was 6 years old. She put her boyfriend, who is 17 years older than she is, first and foremost in her life completely neglecting myself and my brother. We raised ourselves.
On Christmas Day a few years back, my mother and I got in a fight, because her boyfriend gave everybody in my family a Christmas present, except me and my brother. I thought that was bullshit, and we fought about it, and she called her boyfriend, and her boyfriend told her to kick me out. I was working and in school full time, and I pretty much became homeless for about 6 months until I could get a second job. But I got a second job, stayed in school full time, got an apartment, and I feel like a self-made woman. I haven't spoken to her much since, and I doubt I ever will. It was the last straw.
About a month before I got married, she ran off and got married to her boyfriend. I thought it was pretty shitty and a big slap in the face for her to try and "beat me to the altar." They were together for almost 20 years, and he refused to marry her, and a month before my wedding, they run off and get married. Bullshit. Just another nail in the coffin. But anyways, I don't think I've ever written about this before. And now you know!

Damn hon, I would have never guessed. But that's really awesome that you were able to stand up for yourself and be out on your own. You're an independent woman, and that deserves a lot of respect.
My mom and I are almost at our breaking point. She got into a fight with me on my grandma's birthday, because I wanted to go get my hair done (which was ridiculous). She and I haven't spoken since. It's been building up for a while now. She didn't like Keith when we first got together, and didn't want him around a couple of Christmases ago. Plus she kept me on a ball and chain when I was in high school. I won't be surprised if we're not talking 3 years from now.

I used to love Spice Girls when I was younger. I still get a grin on my face when I hear one of their songs on the radio :D
I have a scar left on my right hand for 6 years. It looks like a little eye and it hapened when I accidentally pierced it with a rock and poured Sprite instead of water on it.
