Hope you got some good arms and shoulders, the Explorer is a pretty heavy guitar like 8 pounds or some such. LOL, like walking around with a sledge hammer.

I already have 3 Explorers and they suit me fine. Flying V's are untouchable when it comes to playing comfort tough. They are very nice to play sitting down AND standing up.

This bass is so freakin cool,. im gonna buy it whne i have a job, i dont care what the specs are like lol. Ill just make it better!

I have nothing with Firebirds.
I am a Gibson man myself: Les Paul, Flying V, Explorer are all awesome designs. But Firebirds ain't doing it for me. Also the other popular design, the SG is alright, but isn't topping my lists of fav designs either.

Well, I am a frek for Flying V shape too. After having seen it on the blue book of guitars me and my dad tried searching for a V shaped Gibson bass, but apparently with no results....

The most perfect guitar for me and it's gonna be my next one: The ESP Horizon NT II in Black Aqua finish.



The second one has always been some FAP material for me, the Steve Vai Jem:



And the new pedal I'm gonna get in a week or two: the Ibanez Steve Vai Jemini.

Yeah, tell you the truth, I've never liked the SGs either.

I'd even take a Strat over an SG anyday of the week.

I see....in the end, it's really just a matter of taste. :lol: I for an instance can't stand Fender, nor how they sound nor how they look.
Pherhaps they only guitar which is undoubtfully ugly is that very rare model half explorer half flying v, don't know if you've ever seen it....it's really....weird. :blink:
