I think I have enough input to lay out a fair and clear signature limit. This will now become the law of the board. If you have a problem, speak now or forever hold your peace. This will be enforced just as every other rule of the board is enforced.
-Only horizontal signatures allowed (except for very small signatures)
-Only one signature at a time, max of 550x220 pixels... OR
-550 by 220 pixels worth of space for multiple graphics, which is very generous... OR
-5 Lines of text with no graphics.
That said, I won't be taking out a ruler and measuring each and every signature I see, but if your signature is clearly too big, I will ask you to take it down or modify it.

May i ask something about signatures?
Well my problem is not size of signature, yeah it's great , i like small signatures i hope that mine is now ok!
So my problem is when i wanna paste my link from my photobucket album they say your link is to long...and i must upload them in other place. If is not problem can you Change that again? And i have same problem with avatars...and please Raquel change that too!

Uhm, I have a problem with this:
-Only one signature at a time, max of 550x220 pixels...
The rule ok, don't worry, it's just that I want to change my sig, but if I remove both of my current signatures and put in the one I want, it says it's too big. I have always uploaded from photobucket, it's 550X220, so I don't get.
Can you look into it, Raquel? :)

Guidelines are up, all character limits are turned off. Please revise your signatures if they do not meet the guidelines.

One thing that came to mind... What about a size limit? I mean, a kB limit. Like... mostly for animated signatures.

For signatures, there isn't a KB limit. For avatars, the board default has a KB limit. A smaller signature would indicate a lower KB limit. If a signature is very complex with a long complex video in it, and is severely affecting the way the board loads, the user will be asked to remove it.
