Hello everyone,

I just wanted to write a quick post introducing myself. I recently joined this forum for one reason only and that's to be part of the biggest, best family in the world!! The Metallifamily....

Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than talking to a fellow Metallifan about the loudest, heaviest legendary band that we have all have come to love and support.

I first listened to MetallicA when I was around 8 years old. My neighbor was jaming to a copy of and justice for all... more specifically to One...at the time :gulp: I was a fan of the poppier type music * Michael Jackson and so forth *

I remember playing basketball in my front yard and hearing this monster of a song blasting through the windows of my next door neighbor. Being the typical curious 8 year old kid, I did what I thought was the only logical thing at the time and that was to sneak over to the window to get a better listen. WOW!! I never heard music like this before. I was immediately blown away from Lar's machine gun like druming and double bass, Jaymz' and Kirk's crunching guitars and Jaymz' melodic vocals (can't say much about the bass, sorry Jason :) ) right then and there a fan was born.

Feeling exhausted but exhilarated with what I just heard, I had to know who that band was, so I asked my neighbor and what he told me was music to my ears, MetallicA... That same week I begged (and I mean begged) my parents to pick me up that album and they did.

The rest is history, I became a musician because of them and own loads of memorabilia dedicated to the best damn band in the world.

Aside from that, I am an avid sports player and viewer. I work in the world of entertaiment. I struggled for the better part of my career, literally living on nothing more than a can of soup once a day but with perseverance and MetallicA by my side I succeded. I started off as a model for many companies and now am working to get into the world of acting. I recently worked on a $5 Million dollar picture in Germany and India in which I starred in. Life seems to be coming together nicely. 2008 has been a blessing for me.
